SGMW has an engineering design team of more than 300 engineers. It obtains vehicle development resources from PATAC Auto Research Center, being able to develop 1 model of vehicle within 2 years. In 2005, both of SGMW's production and sales volume exceeded 337,000 units. Wuling now takes over 30% of the mini vehicle market in China. Wuling vehicles have been exported to more than 30 countries and regions, such as Central and South America, Southeast Asia, Middle East, South Africa, and West Europe.
